5.5” x 6” watercolor on paper. 2019.
This painting was all about thoughtful brushstrokes. Thinking before each one; hesitating, choosing NOT to mark when I normally would go to town. I love painting because of all the parallels I can draw to life. We’re told to live dangerously, to make mistakes - but living cautiously and thoughtfully is how a plenty good amount of people live. Think before you act. Think before you lay a brushstroke down.
